Viola Zhou is an award-winning journalist based in New York. She previously lived in Hong Kong, and has covered China for the South China Morning Post and VICE. She now writes for tech publication Rest of World.
Viola speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Her passion lies in telling stories about the human impact of politics and technology. She has won SABEW and SOPA awards for her reporting on global manufacturing and Chinese pop culture.
